Jessica Baggerman
My name is Jessica Baggerman. I grew up on a multi-generation farm and ranch in the Texas Panhandle and was raised in a Christian family. I moved to Huntington, Indiana in August of 2017 to work at Huntington University, where I am an associate professor of agriculture and manage the livestock operations. I began attending College Park UB Church when I moved to Huntington, and I began serving in the Children’s Ministry soon after. In 2023 I started helping with the Youth Ministry and have enjoyed every second of helping the children of the church to grow in their faith. In my free time I enjoy coffee, cooking, and crafting. I also continue to help my family with the farm and ranch from afar. Being a member of College Park UB Church has
allowed me to grow and mature in my faith as well as share with others. I am honored to be considered for the Elder Team and look forward to working with the church to continue to serve God’s Kingdom. Email Jessica at: jessicab@cpubchurch.com

Jean Michelson
Jean Michelson became a Christian in 2nd grade understanding Jesus’ love for her. Decades later, she still knows Jesus’ love for her and takes joy as He still teaches her new things. A formative influence in her life has been the daily devotional God Hunt developed by David and Karen Mains, which leads her to evaluate each day by looking for how God has been active in her life. Jean’s testimony is that she has learned to expect to see God at work each day, and so her walk with Him has been strengthened.
Jean’s connection with College Park goes back to 1974 when she and her husband, Paul, moved to Huntington, becoming members the next year. Over the years, Jean has been involved in a number of ministries: women’s Bible studies, various roles in children’s ministry, a college group leader, small group Bible study leader, prayer team member, and the New Covenant Sunday morning class coordinator and teacher, as well as serving on various College Park committees.
In addition, Jean was a hospital chaplain for several years at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Parkview Huntington. Jean has been active in Huntington Habitat for Humanity and as a La Leche League leader. Jean frequently speaks to women’s groups in the USA and Romania. Jean also has a deep commitment to, and love for the ministries of prayer and worship.

Jeff Sherlock
My name is Jeff Sherlock. I grew up in a Christian home in Ohio where my parents led me to the Lord at about age 12. Like many young people, my Christian commitment was inconsistent, but at age 16 I sensed that God was calling me to make a choice to follow or not. I look back at that as my true “adult” conversion. I attended Elim Bible Institute for two years before beginning a career in the business world. After completing college as a non-traditional student, my family and I moved to Macau where we served as missionaries for 2-1/2 years. Upon our return to the United States in 1992, I began a career teaching Business at the university level. I have served on short term trips to Asia, Africa, Europe, and Central America. My wife, Joan, and I have been members of College Park since 1993. I currently serve on College Park’s Mission Committee and on the Tech Team. Email Jeff at: jeffs@cpubchurch.com
Cate Simmons
My name is Cate Simmons. I grew up going to church in Northwest Indiana and accepted Christ in my teen years. My husband (Andy) and I met as Art & Design students at HU and were surprised to find ourselves moving to Huntington in 2020 (joining College Park a year later). We’ve found a home in CP, and are honored to serve through leading the 242 group; serving on the communion team; and finding ways to use art and graphic design for the church. I currently work as a studio photographer at Frederick’s in Huntington and in my free time enjoy movie nights, collecting house plants, and camping. As someone who has been blessed and seen my faith grow while part of the College Park community, I’m humbled and excited for the opportunity to serve on the elder team. Stephanie Villanueva
My name is Stephanie Villanueva, and I am married to my best friend Andrew. We have two wonderful kids – Olivia is 10 and Evan is 8. I asked Jesus into my heart as a young child, and College Park became my church home when we moved to Indiana when I was in second grade. When Olivia was born, I became a stay-at-home mom; previously, I was a teacher, and I am still able to spend a lot of hours volunteering at Horace Mann. I currently serve in kids ministry as a first service teacher and volunteer for events, as well as helping with our Thrive mom’s ministry team. I am honored to be asked to be a part of the Elder Team. Email Stephanie at: stephanie@cpubchurch.com
