New to CP?

What should I expect?

We know it’s not easy to walk into a new church for the first time.  Whether you’ve never gone to church or you’ve followed Jesus for many years, you are welcome here.

This is a place where you can “come as you are” to find new ideas, perspectives, and friends.

What should I wear?

Wear what you like.  You’ll see everything from suits to blue jeans. What matters to God and to us is that you are here.

Which service should I attend?

This depends on your preference; Would you like something with a more traditional feel with hymns accompanied by piano and organ? Then our traditional 9:00am service may be for you.

If you prefer more upbeat music through a worship band, then the contemporary 10:30am service would be for you.  Same message – different music. If you have children (newborns through 6th graders), both services offer bible-based, safe, fun, and friendly age-specific programming for them.

What about the offering plate?

We are currently using drop-boxes for offering, so please fill out a connect card and drop it in the box at the conclusion of the service, we would love to get to know you!

As regular members of our church, we give joyfully in worship and gratitude to God to support the ongoing work of the church.

What does College Park believe?

We are a congregation of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the first denomination formed on American soil. Read our Confession of Faith.

What else?

In a nutshell, our church follows Jesus by loving God, loving people, and serving the world.  We invite you to learn more about the many ways we do this by browsing this web site.   We hope to see you soon.
