What should I expect?
We know it’s not easy to walk into a new church for the first time. Whether you’ve never gone to church or you’ve followed Jesus for many years, you are welcome here.
This is a place where you can “come as you are” to find new ideas, perspectives, and friends.
What is the worship experience like?
Our conviction is that our worship gatherings will be characterized by a style that intentionally incorporates the best of what is available to us from among both the treasured traditions handed down through the history of the Church, and newer, modern expressions of worship. From week to week you can expect a variety of musical styles and arrangements that include, guitars, drums, organ, piano, and choir.
What should I wear?
Wear what you like. You’ll see everything from suits to blue jeans. What matters to God and to us is that you are here.
What about the offering plate?
We currently pass the offering plate as a part of our worship. As regular members of our church, we give joyfully in worship and gratitude to God to support the ongoing work of the church.
What does College Park believe?
We are a congregation of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ, the first denomination formed on American soil. Read our Confession of Faith.
What else?
If you are visiting with us, please stop by the Welcome Center and fill out a connect card. You can put it in the offering plate or drop it in an offering box at the conclusion of the service. We would love to get to know you!
