Monday Night Ladies Bible Study
This is a group of ladies from College Park that study the Bible. Ladies from other churches sometimes join us as well. We use video series that are designed for women such as teachings from Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Lysa Terkeurst. We have studied books of the Bible, people in the Bible, and Biblical principles. This group meets Monday nights from Sept. to May. For more information, contact Flav Ann Karst, Natalie Brautigam, or the church office.
Ladies Lunch Out
A monthly lunch at a local restaurant to connect with other ladies. This group meets the third Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. For more information contact the church office.
S.A.L.T. Single Adult Ladies Together
S.A.L.T. provides times of fellowship, fun, sharing, and caring for widows and singles. This group meets each month except January and July. There is no set time of month for the meetings but rather depends on what we will be doing or where we will be going. If you are interested in joining this group or want more information, contact the church office.
Love Mug Ministry
The Love Mug Ministry meets on a Sunday afternoon (May & November) from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to REVEAL and draw a new mug (secretly) from the mix of mugs brought by each one. The mug you draw will reveal the Sister in Christ that you will be praying for during the next six months. We pray for and encourage our Love Mug Sister by gifting her with cards of encouragement or small gifts ($1 – $5) on a once-a-month basis. It is a way to help you connect to other women at College Park and be a prayer warrior for a Sister in Christ. Communication is usually done by passing the items through a special cubby in the Commons Area. At our reveals, we like to share how we have seen God work in our lives because of the power of the prayers as we share in light refreshments as well! I Thess. 5:11 tells us, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” If you want more information, contact the church office.
Stitching With Love
Our group meets to sew, knit, crochet and create items that are then provided to many groups in the community. We deliver Items such as: small quilts, crocheted and knitted items for nursing homes, schools, Head Start, Youth Services, Huntington Hospice, Veterans, Dream Center, College Park Children’s Ministry, and Share the Warmth. This group currently isn’t meeting in-person. For more information contact the church office.
