Prayer for the Persecuted Church

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12

Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.” Hebrews 13:3

Hello in Christ!  I am Amos Rawley, the pastor of New Hope Church that meets on the south side of town on Engle St. Did you know that the first Tuesday night of every month from 6:30 – 7:30 there are a group of believers here in Huntington that get together at various churches around town simply to obey these commands by praying for persecuted Christians? Did you know that your congregation is involved in this effort? We meet at your church once every six months!  Did you know that we’ve been doing this for over a year now? Did you know that next week, on July 2nd, our 6:30 gathering will be at The Well (1883 Old US Highway 24, Huntington)? Well, now you know, so we hope that you’ll be as excited for this as we are and come join us! Come ready to be inspired in your faith as you hear some amazing stories of brothers and sisters around the world who stand strong for Christ, and then as we pray together as one body for them. How sweet it will be to gather together in prayer for the sake of Christ and our family in Him. I hope you’ll consider joining us for this hour of prayer.  I look forward to uniting for this!

Please call me at 388-4957, or email me at amosrawley@gmail.com, with any additional questions about this time.

Christ’s rich blessings on you!

In Him,
Amos Rawley
