Dr. Jerry Davis announced that Mary Clark has joined the Team at Grace & Truth Counseling.
Mary Clark completed her Master’s degree (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Huntington University. She is now completing her post-master’s hours to become licensed as a mental health counselor in the state of Indiana. Mary has been married to her husband, Lance for 29 years. They have two grown daughters.
Mary has experience working with adults, college students, couples, children, elderly adults, and young moms. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, grief counseling, and trauma. Mary also has training in the integration of Christianity and counseling.
Mary is trained and certified in several trauma-based approaches that include Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Psychological First Aid. She is also trained and certified to use Prepare/Enrich, the leading relationship inventory and skill building program for pre-marital and marital couples.
Mary is supervised weekly by Dr. Jerry Davis who has a Ph. D. in counseling and holds all three Indiana licenses: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
She joins the counseling team of Annalee Rawley and Abbi Grandlienard. Appointments are made through the Deb Swihart at the College Park Church office (260-356-2642, Extension 201).
