Grace & Truth Counseling Announcement

Dr. Jerry Davis announced that Aaron Crump has joined the Team at Grace & Truth Counseling.

Aaron Crump completed his Master’s degree (M.A.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Huntington University. He is now completing his post-master’s hours to become licensed as a mental health counselor in the state of Indiana. Aaron is originally from the Indianapolis area but now calls northern Indiana his home. Aaron loves good books, movies and he especially loves good coffee,

Aaron completed his graduate level clinical work at a free community clinic, and two different university counseling centers where he treated individuals in young adulthood dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns. His specialties include anxiety, depression, grief counseling, loss and trauma. Aaron also has training in the integration of Christianity and counseling.   He is passionate about working with the deep issues that lie beneath our symptoms. Aaron combines a warm client centered approach with a focus on emotion and the transformational capacity it holds when we learn to sit with it in the presence of a safe person. Aaron is trained and certified in Psychological First Aid. He believes that therapy is a space where “The therapist and the client sit together and dream about what redemption could look like for them”. Aaron sees therapy not only as a calling but as his vocation and desires to walk next to those hurting and help bear witness to the transformation in their lives.

Aaron is supervised weekly by Dr. Jerry Davis who has a Ph. D. in counseling and holds all three Indiana licenses: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
