CP Youth News Week of Dec. 1

Sunday Morning, December 1st

Sunday School:
9:45-11:00 am
Study the Word with others, ask questions, and discuss answers.

We will NOT be meeting on Sunday night, December 1st. God has given us a priceless gift by giving us family. Praise Him for the people in your lives and spend some quality time with your families!

Wednesday, December 4th

Christmas Decorating! Whoever is interested in helping decorate the Youth Room and hang out is welcome to come next Wednesday night at 5:30. Expect Christmas music, pizza, friends, and laughter. We’ll meet for our prayer meeting from 6:30-7:30 after decorating.

Sunday, December 8th,

We want to support our little brothers and sisters in Christ at their Christmas Program. They have put a lot of work into this and they are so excited. We can show love to them by being there and we can worship God for the miracle that happened when He sent His Son to us. Let’s celebrate! The program starts at 6:00 pm and will conclude with a time of cookies and fellowship. It is a family event, but if parents can’t make it, please pick up your students at the regular time, 7:45 pm.

Sunday, December 15th

Youth Group Christmas Party! What a joyful thing to celebrate – the coming of our Savior – Emmanuel, God with us! Wear your most fashionable ugly sweater (self-made or purchased) and be ready to sing Christmas songs. Our dear Craig has organized a Secret Santa gift exchange. Some students have already filled out the matching sheet that Craig made, but anyone who has not done that yet and wants to be part of the exchange, please contact Craig or Terra Rowley. Once Craig has all the forms, he will match you with someone and give you their form so you know how to get them a gift. We’re putting a $0-10 range on the gifts.  If you want to be a part of the exchange but money is a problem, let us know and we’ll figure something out. We want this to be a really fun evening together, but most importantly, we want Christ to be the center.

February 28-March 1

UB Winter Retreat at Miracle Camp: We want 2020 to be a year of growth in our faith. This retreat will be a time to deepen relationships in our group, be challenged in our faith, and meet with God. There will be tubing and lots of fun! Please be expecting more information about the upcoming retreat as well as registration forms.
