Matt joined the College Park staff in December of 2014. He majored in Educational Ministries and minored in Biblical Studies at Huntington University (2007), and he earned a Master of Christian Ministry degree from Bethel University in 2019. Matt met his wife, Emily, at Huntington University and they have enjoyed over fifteen years of marriage and ministry side by side. They have three awesome children and a sweet goldendoodle.
It fills Matt with joy to see people’s lives transformed by experiencing a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ. He loves walking with others as they live for the Kingdom of Heaven here and now. “As a musician and worship pastor, I love to see and hear our church community sing out and express praise and gratitude to God as a response to His gracious love for us.”
In his free time, Matt enjoy’s date nights, walk/jogs, and tennis with Emily, bike rides, board games, and video games with his kids, playing guitar and bass guitar, hanging out at Sweetwater Sound, and disc golf with the guys.
