Jason Boothman

My name is Jason Boothman – husband to an amazing woman (Melissa) and father to three wonderful children (Keira, Kanaan, and Korrah). Originally hailing from southern Michigan, I completed my Graphic Design degree from Huntington College in 2003 and have lived here ever since. When asked what I do I often just tell people “I work with computers”, but my official title is Web Developer/Programmer/Analyst at Huntington University. In my free time I enjoy saving the world from imaginary threats (playing video games), learning of others’ heroic exploits (reading books), throwing plastic at baskets (disc golf), and crafting delicious comestibles (cooking). Jean Michelson

Jean Michelson became a Christian in 2nd grade understanding Jesus’ love for her. Decades later, she still knows Jesus’ love for her and takes joy as He still teaches her new things. A formative influence in her life has been the daily devotional God Hunt developed by David and Karen Mains, which leads her to evaluate each day by looking for how God has been active in her life. Jean’s testimony is that she has learned to expect to see God at work each day, and so her walk with Him has been strengthened.

Jean’s connection with College Park goes back to 1974 when she and her husband, Paul, moved to Huntington, becoming members the next year. Over the years, Jean has been involved in a number of ministries: women’s Bible studies, various roles in children’s ministry, a college group leader, small group Bible study leader, prayer team member, and the New Covenant Sunday morning class coordinator and teacher, as well as serving on various College Park committees.

In addition, Jean was a hospital chaplain for several years at Huntington Memorial Hospital and Parkview Huntington. Jean has been active in Huntington Habitat for Humanity and as a La Leche League leader. Jean frequently speaks to women’s groups in the USA and Romania. Jean also has a deep commitment to, and love for the ministries of prayer and worship.
